On average how much time should be spent researching an individual stock?

  1. In your case?

  2. I pay $400 per hour
If he finds a problem I get off less than 1k
If it's fundamentally sound it costs a lot
And the analysis doesn't stop just because you bought it

I don't advise any individual to trade individual stocks unless he can devote about 16 hours day to it

but then again, I don't advise anybody to trade anything they can't devote their life to

Depends on the speed of your "computer"... ;-)
In my case maybe about 500 milliseconds :)

    districttrader and ETcallhome like this.
  4. A very short amount of time to choose/analyze what stock(s) to trade -- but if you want to get technical...a very long amount of time to come to that realization point. :vomit::wtf:

  5. Depends on how much you're going to invest. Big positions should probably get more research. Small positions might get a little or even none.
