Anyone trading OMX Swedish OMXS index futures products?

I see that the volume traded is rather decent.
I'd like to understand its characteristics, its trendiness
and where I can get the Swedish related market news.

There is a wide variety of options and futures linked to the OMX30.
You can run websites like this through Google translate
    https://www.avanza.se/placera/forstasidan.html
Lots of individual stock info on there as well.

With more industrial mix I would say its more similar to the DAX. Several banks so need to watch interest rate decisions. Are these the things you want to trade or using as proxy for global markets? You can send me a PM if you want.

    I am already trading dax.
I am looking at widening my scope and trade other products.

How is the correlation beween OMX30 and dax?
If the correlation is not there, then it makes sense for me trade things like OMX30.

  4. At first, I thought you meant OBX-futures on Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE). I looked into those myself earlier this year, but as far as I can see, there's virtually no volume...

Would be interesting to hear what you decide on regarding OMX. I doubt you'll find any informed answers for your questions here, so you probably need to research it yourself.

There is strong correlation in periods, e.g. last three months according to this: https://www.macroaxis.com/invest/market/^GDAXI--compareProfile--^OMX

OMXS30 tends to follow USA to a significant degree as well. When US markets open it will usually move OMXS30.

Long term trendiness tends to be quite shit (in comparison to say something like NQ) because it's a bunch of old retail, industrial and bank companies in the index. Not good for buy & hold but decent for intraday trading I guess.

  7. Anyone other than maxinger trading this here on ET?

I've tried to get data through IQFeed, but they do not have it. That is, they had index data, but not futures data.
