Japan has said its government will introduce a 28tn yen ($265bn; £200bn) package to boost the flagging economy. Just one big mess of a global world market...as I have so many times on repeat there is ZERO ZERO ZEROOOO organic growth here in the US and every where else around the world... .so today's news is that Japan is pumping their economy up again with more funny money...yep how many damn times do we have to see nearly every worthless economy spend their way out of a slumping no good economy? The laughing matter of this entire game is that everyone thinks this is the way to fix failing economies, its not and will never be the way...when the US market collapses it will be at that point that everyone discovers pumping money into an economy does absolutely nothing but create an illusion....Japan is pumping $28 trillion yen into their economy....how many more decades of zero growth will they go through to realize this does absolutely nothing..... http://www.bbc.com/news/business-36901297
@Martinghoul, what's your take for Friday? Think Kuroda again tried to mislead everyone late last week? I call a bluff.
I believe it's making headlines because they increased the amount of stimulus by a larger amount.....it was not originally $28 trillion yen
News today is that there is no news today (a detailed presser has been announced for next week), even Japan wants to be in the front pages every now and then. Next time Friday...
Very tough to call... I have no special insight, so I would guess that they try to do a bit of everything. You have to be careful. The headline number is kinda irrelevant, since what matters is what they call the "real water" component (i.e. actual deficit spending). That's supposed to be arnd ¥5 - 6trn and hasn't really changed in the past few days, although the headlines have been flying fast and furious.
