I have recently been offered a position at Generic and Lynx. I would appreciate if anyone can shed some light regarding which firm has a better training program/atmosphere/professionalism etc. Generic-no capital required, Lynx-2k Thanks.
Druck I think you can find some answers if you use the search link. It seems there have been some recent comments about the Lynx. Good luck.
Drunk: Visit the offices (again if necessary) and ask the traders IN THE OFFICES. They are the only ones who really know. Good Luck! JWK
Spend a day (or a few days if you can) in the offices. Don't ask them how much money they are making. They'll just mislead you. If everyone is cursing and throwing keyboards during the day, avoid that office. If everyone is acting professionally, hyper, and in good spirits, they are probably making some coin, and may have some good strategies working for them. I usually go by how much profanity I hear in the office during the day. Alot of it makes me think (these idiots don't know what they are doing)! Of course, if you are in NYC, you gotta account for that
