Odumbocare subsidies to cost BILLIONS more than expected

“Nearly 7 in 10 consumers who signed up for Marketplace coverage are paying $100 or less for that coverage,” said newly confirmed HHS secretary Sylvia Burwell. “When there is choice and competition, everybody benefits,” she concluded oddly, not mentioning that the sole factor in lowering the cost for Obamacare customers is upping the taxpayer tab.

Burwell sounds absolutely brilliant, perhaps dumber than Sebelius ... people are paying next to nothing because we, the taxpayers, are paying most of the Odumbocare premiums. 87% are getting subsidies ..... so about 1 in 8 actually is paying full premiums.

Jesus. Well, hopefully other nations will see what national healthcare has done to us and won't try it!

C'mon ... the point is 8 million sign up, 74% previously insured and 80+% of the remaining 26% were previously uninsured meaning about 22% are now insured who were not insured before. So just over 1.75 million are newly insured. And most of these people, will get on average 76% of their premiums paid. Then we have 25% of those with data problems, including income issues.

IMO health insurance should not be a right. People should have a choice. And people should not expect others to subsidize their premiums. Last, looks like Odumbocare has no incentive for the 70% of the US (per numbers reported yesterday) who are overweight/obese to clean up their act. Rather than penalize them with higher premiums we reward them with subsidies. Well thought out Odumbo!!
