Seems like there's a lot of pump and dumping going on over there. I'm not entirely against the reddit, just curious if they're not habitual line steppers and raising eyebrows at the fed's.
Tough to say. There's minimal false or misleading info going on. Mods have been great at filtering out bad dd (due diligence). Everyone there is quite clear that they are mostly speculating / gambling. Its no secret. But the PLTR pump was a bit out of control. The last time I remember the entire group going that nuts was over SPCE. That being said, if you follow that forum, there's lots of money to be made on these meme stocks if u get in early enough. If PLTR like pumps continue to happen, it leads me to wonder if it will raise some eyebrows.
Day traders love the pump and dump stocks. Those are one of the easiest stocks to trade and tons of money could be made. Timing is very important. A lot of people tend to enter very late. And they tend to hold on to the trade for very very long thinking price will go up to the moon and star and beyond. And when they lost money, they blame the manipulators but not themselves. _________________
The best was when pltr broke out to$16, Guy Adami on cnbc fast money said pltr was worth $12-13. I guess he never heard of WSB.
Boomers on Facebook is different than hundreds of thousands flush techies on reddit trading derivatives
I ran into t Bought after it settled down from the wild IPO had a few shares some bought in AH as idiots pushed it below $9. Last week I remembered PLTR was in a IRA not a taxable account. Gave the shares to WS Bets self proclaimed “Autists”” at $30.7 I can wait or find another stock.
