    What amounts are odd lots?

  2. I used to have a treasury Direct account.
    Buy what ever.
Now do all that at Schwab.
The software loads $25K into the default amount.
    I always keep a $100K in T-Bills.
A "chill pill" for the compliance officer.

What is an odd lot in the secondary market for treasuries?

  4. A round lot for most bonds (Munis, corporates) is $100K.
    Treasuries is a $Million.
But the spreads at Schwab look pretty tight.
I've sold Treasuries to the desk at Ameritrade.
    Works fine.
Tons better than selling a CD back.
You will get killed doing that.

Length to maturity will affect the spread.

  6. Yes, of course.
Are you looking to go long T-Notes?
    Wow.

  7. If anything, looks like a short to me.

  8. Many TA people can find a H&S bottom in here.
That must be respected even if it doesn't work out.
The stock perma-bulls are deranged, lacking discipline.

It works till it doesn't. We have one permabull on ET who claims you should never take a loss.
