They have a 14-day free trail with live data. Their data package, which includes charting is cheaper than eSignal. I have done some paper trading on it and the Delta Hedging model is very cool for trading stock against a straddle. They also have a ladder for futures, but you can use it for options as well, which I like. So is anyone using this to trade? Check it out: www.silexx.com
Question... I am playing with Obsidian and they have an Algo Ticket. However I am not sure how exactly to use this. Maybe it doesn't work in the Demo account. I would like to learn more about these "WAP" type order and other algo orders. It seems very useful, but I am not sure how best to use them. This is what it says on the site. "Obsidian's Algorithmic Order Ticket supports multiple equity algos, including: VWAP, VWAP+, TWAP, TWAP+, Flexible Participation, Implementation Shortfall, Rapid Dark, Synthetic Peg and Volume Participation" http://www.silexx.com/obsidian/modules I read up on them in Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VWAP However, could some one give me an example of which to use and expectation. The ticket in the demo seems easy enough to use, I am just wondering if someone has an opinion on the different "WAP" types and when to or not to use them. Welcome your thoughts and opinions.
