Nvidia was the main story with its market capitalization exceeding $3 trillion (3.01T) after a gain of $60 on a day or 5.16% to $1224.40. The company is now the 2nd largest company just ahead of Apple and below Microsoft ($3.15T). You can´t make this up. Only possible on US exchanges. Out of fun, buying some OTM NVIDIA puts on that "piece of news"
Just to confirm...nvda added nearly 200 billion in market capitalization in 5 days. The equivalent of an entire McDonald's which has been in business for nearly 70 yrs. Imagine taking 70 yrs to obtain a 200 billion market cap and Nvidia does it in 5 days. ....
Yea they keep tripping over each other to raise targets. Can't wait to see which analyst throws out the first sell rating.... So what price would nvda have to be to say hey this stock is fully priced?? 1400 1487 1523 1678 1799 1845 2300 2900 3188 3892 4900 8987 When do they say it's fully valued and another thing, if nvda only goes up why don't they stick it in the dow 30 after the split, this would catapult the dow to 100k by end of 2025!!! The US could pay off its national debt by investing in nvda ....would be a spectacular idea....
You can´t make up the forward EPS evaluation of NVIDIA...Irrational exuberance doesn´t fetch it! Abolutely insane.
This is normal behaviour pre stock split. Will go even higher post stock split as retail pile in on $125 NVDA, they will think absolute bargain, NVDA for $125! Then they will run it up to $250 and still think its cheap!! $10T market is possible in this bubble market. AI is the future, everything will be AI everywhere.. 100T market cap will happen by 2050. Just look at AMZN, currently almost 40 times higher than it was at bubble peak in year 2000. Infact that makes $100T for 2050 sound low, if NVDA peaks at $10T this cycle it could hit $400T by 2050 (ie. 40x like AMZN did) at the top of the next bubble in 25 or so years times But after 2050, it falls to $0T as money will have no meaning in a post AI Singularity world
What does that have to do with America? I can only ascertain that the only revolutionary ideas are coming out of America: from MIcrosoft, NVDIA, Apple (to a lesser extent).
