it has retaken the 200 day, and today retook the 50 day Target somewhere around $270, then reevaluate whether to sell all or partial so upside is 17% Stop $215 so downside from average cost of $230 is 7% Time frame, dunno, swing or position trade signed, your friend, the noob.
I buy NVDA via the SOXL, I love the I buy Nvda via SOXL, paid $27.40-$29s for that ETF. Now it’s at $36, my trigger finger is itching. AMD, NVDA and QCOM my entries are lower, interesting how we all gauge price different.
So I didn’t get the stock. The order with $235 limit was a day order so that’s expired, not sure if I’ll put it on again tomorrow. Maybe yes maybe no. The $225 limit order is GtC, so that sticks. just trying to practice discipline and not chase, no matter how much I like the stock.
I'd change brokers or complain. Around 2:30 it traded as low as 232.05. Unless you had an all or nothing order you should have been filled. Even with an all or nothing order it traded low enough to get a fill.
I'm long on NVDA, up 23% since buying a little over a year ago, despite the severe adjustment of late. May sell at 320.
Ok, so this will be funny but sad at the same time. DD, after seeing your post, I checked, and in fact I did get the 50 shares at $235. I put in the orders, then went to what turned into a 3 hour lunch with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. When lunch was over I checked and the stock was at $239, Powell spoke , and it started moving higher. I had no idea it had traded that low. so yeah, I stand corrected I got the stock at $235
