NVDA - not the blowout quarter the street wanted

Discussion in 'Trading' started by Poetic_trader, Feb 26, 2025.

  1. NVDA beat by a small amount and didn’t really raise guidance .. Up a little after hours but not much. The ceo may push up the stock during the cc while he does some cheerleading.
AMBA looks like a better long with their earnings and guidance after the close. AMBA is up over 8 points but I think it goes much higher from here.

True but it was good enough for the smidcap growth to continue going higher. ARKK ARKF ARKG all up 80 bps after the ER.

That's nice because I got some calls on VST and it went up 2% after hours.
Just playing the earnings here. Electric utilities fuel the NVDA chips.

    1M NVDA not going anywhere

3M AMBA doesn't look crazy to me (below 85).

  4. I think AMBA can break above 90 tomorrow on momentum. Does it close above 90? Who knows.

NVDA should see $110 by the end of March

Sounds good to me. I sold naked calls on NVDL so that would be a nice clean profit....

As if mentioned in 2024, law of large numbers is working against nvda. The gigantic growth it had beating numbers significantly quarter over quarter and year over year is dwindling. Nvda could lose half it's value in the next 3 years or sooner .....

Agree. I think the best is behind.
Tough to beat its own history.
    But I might be wrong.
