We would teach shooting and firearm competency. It wouldnât matter if a childâs parents werenât good at it. Weâd find them a mentor. It wouldnât matter if they didnât want to learn. Did he say "give them a gun" or did he say teach them to handle a gun responsibly? Are you opposed to young people learning how to handle a gun responsibly? Many of us grew up with firearms from a young age. We learned to treat them like any other potentially dangerous tool. With respect. Of course, we also had to cut our own lawns using dangerous lawn mowers. No mexicans back then to do it for us. Liberals want to inculcate an unreasonble fear and loathing of guns into young people. They figure it will make it easier to con them into supporting gun confiscation. They're on board with indoctrinating young kids into gay sex but not firearms.
