How does this change anyone plans much? To be honest, it shouldn't. Looking from past experience, I was going to be very surprised if they did NOT move the goal-posts once again. Now we have to wait until the second quarter for the next merge-date. That said, I'm becoming less interested in the merge as I am for sharding. However, best estimate we have is sharding won't be until next year. But going from past-experience yet again, that probably means we won't get the first shards until 2024 at earliest (if lucky). In the meantime, I'm just waiting for another ETH to 2400 support line crash again, so I can short more puts and go long more futures.
