I'm trying to sell some shares of an OTC name. My limit price is below the bid and the order is active (green) but it just sits there, not filling. Any ideas? Order was routed with SMART (OTCLNKECN). I tried ARCAEDGE as well but it didn't seem to help.
You could probably sell to an other IB client or an other broker that offers pre-market trading but 95% of brokers that offer OTC don't place trades until 9:30AM
Now filled in part, but at a different price to my limit price. I don't really understand how these OTC markets work.
What do you mean different to your limit? if it's a limit order it will not fill below that price. It works like any regular market except it's very thinly traded.
The fill price was slightly above my limit price, but I'm also seeing trade-through (other trades printing at prices that should have filled my order, but didn't).
It filled eventually, somehow. The system might be bit strange, but the AIM market here in the UK is worse!
Vol is not trading in GOOGL. 500 lot taken down to 33 and unfilled (33x34). Tried to move a one lot on another order (single) to test it buying at 21 with market at 19x20 and went unfilled.
