Go back only a some years with tesla and the first time the stock crossed a trillion dollar market cap. The fear of missing out sent the stock up in one parabolic move .....look at it today, Nvidia will be in the same situation as well in due time....
From what I read Perplexity has the best AI application. Better than Microsoft & Anthropic. I think they are worth $10+ billion.
This is different than the Internet 1.0 bubble. It is more like the Cloud bubble where using IT services became easy to use for people who didn't understand server hardware. AI is just an extension of automation from computer programming only its promise is using programming without any knowledge -- I doubt this will happen anytime soon. I think the people who benefit the most are the people who work in IT & Application Development since they can fix the errors that they see but most can't. Just like the early days of Cloud benefited people who managed their internal server hardware.
