Non-USA Options

Discussion in 'Options' started by HtownTrader, Feb 11, 2020.

  1. Does anybody trade options on exchanges not based in the United States? I live in America and am looking into the possibility of trading outside of the hours of the American markets. Do the volume and liquidity of some of the other big exchanges come close to rivaling that of the ones based in the United States?

  4. I’ve traded some European equity options. There are some pretty liquid out there, but usually spreads are so wide you can drive a truck thru.

Check with broker as to what is legal and available first and clarify if your talking CFTC - numerous choices or SEC -very limited to pure retail. The forum has great deal of discussion prior.
