I know a guy that is really good at it. He always gets stalked by his brokers. Or at least he did until he won a few lawsuits.

Anyone have know of any firms that keep brokers on a leash and if you have a large account or make some bad-ass trades you are not going to get phone calls asking how you trade or have people breaking into your house to eat your shit to find out how you trade?

Any broker that doesn’t have enough staff and time to look at their customer accounts even when asked by those customers. Like IB.

    LOL you are a guru.

  4. I assume you are asking to find some easy cannon fodder for your frivolous law suits? And no, I have never heard of a broker who phones up clients or breaks into people's homes to glean their trading secrets.

Most likely bookish' friend got a call from a broker because he was doing high risk options trades, broker was worried about margin calls and not getting compensated. The friend of course thought it's because he's a big shot and they want to learn his "secrets". Then someone broke into his house and the paranoid clown though it must be the broker because "muh secrets".

OK its late and I think a couple of you have been drinking so I'll spell this one out.

    1) Greedy sociopath gets job as broker.
    2) Greedy sociopath scans all accounts to see who has the highest cagr
    3) Greedy sociopath tries to reverse engineer but fails
    4) Greedy sociopath does shit like I mentioned up above.

Repeat over and over at every broker there is. First and second hand experience here.

When breaks into homes to steal digital data in the time of strong encryption? Did he also have NSA level decryption tools? Sounds like a cool movie.

At least I have enough class to either answer the question that is asked or stay off the thread.
