Nobel director regretted Obama peace prize

A former director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute has admitted his regrets about the 2009 award of the Nobel Peace Prize to US President Barack Obama.

Geir Lundestad, who served as Director of the Nobel Institute for 25 years, wrote in a newly released memoir that although the five-strong Norwegian Nobel Committee had all agreed to give Obama the award, his record in office since receiving the prize had shown it to be a mistake.

Take away Obama's Peace Prize, ok, but the terrorists rotting in drone blasted pieces all over the ME are to remain dead.

Former Nobel director: "Can't we all just get along???"

  5. I would imagine so given the body count. Guess a snake is a snake no matter who the charmer is.

  6. He shouldn't feel bad. They actually did us a favor by proving for once and for all that the Prize is a total joke and has lost all meaning.

How is that doing us a favor, we wanted the prize to be delegitimized?

It has been delegitimized for many years. The memoir demonstrates why the Nobel peace prize is meaningless and the sad bias that goes into the selection. Soon they will be awarding it to brutal dictators with large body counts on the basis that the committee hopes the tyrant will do better in the future if given the peace prize.

I doubt your "soon" scenario, we're not out of people who are doing real good in the world.
At any rate, Obama has been a big killer of terrorists: good.

  10. More narrative twisting and rationalizing by our resident commie...
