No Liquidity in today's Forex's Markets

  1. If you guys are watching the spots, you'll see that trading has been extremely slow and dead since this morning.. Any idea why?

  3. Liquidity and price volatility are not the same thing. The action might be quiet (low volatility), but you can still get into and out of positions just fine (high liquidity).

  4. Probably to do with the date.

It's the US showing its disdain for terrorism..........still, it's a lot better than having a gloomy day in the markets to make what is a sad day even more depressing.

I'm sure I'm not alone in remembering exactly where I was when 9/11 occurred. My condolences to all of those affected by it.

  8. Who is Forex's? Possessive-case?

  9. There has been normal liquidity today.

Indeed I have to say throughout all the volatility of the past couple of months I am staggered at how tight spreads have been for decent size.

Liquidity is vast compared to even five years ago.

  10. NZD/JPY +2.1%
    AUD/JPY +1.6%
    USD/CAD down over 100 pips
    AUD/USD up nearly 100 pips
Euro rallying to its recent high at 1.3850
    I could go on..

BnB, this was a GREAT day in FX! And most of the gains came in the a.m. (as usual). I don't know how you could've been so blind, everything was flying at 10am this morning.
