Mitch McConnell is doing just what I hoped he would do.

Regardless of what anyone else does Senate Majority Lead McConnell has declared openly that he will simply not schedule a hearing and will not schedule a vote. Nothing short of deposing him from his leadership position can change that.

Done and done. Obama will NOT be picking a judge to replace Scalia. He can make all the tasteless jokes about the man that he likes. He is powerless and feckless and lamest of ducks.

"'No hearing, no vote,' said Sen. Lindsey Graham, as he emerged from a closed-door meeting with Majority Leader Mitch McConnell."

  3. McConnell has sold us out repeatedly before, so I will withhold my praise. I suppose the difference is the Chamber of Commerce and defense contractors don't want Obama appointing a justice either.

I'm... I'm seeing a little sand here, a little grit.

He has realized that republican house leadership has completely collapsed and he is on his own. I'm going to go ahead and express some faith here. Lets see what this man from West Virginia is made of.
