Yes, FX retail is finished. It already ruined this site by attracting all the third world punters and strivers who trashed the site--

What a scam retail FX is-- will u ever learn?

Long past time the FX bubble was burst. But where will all the under-capitalized and over-leveraged traders with no concept of risk go?

    For accelerated portfolio growth?

  8. No biggie. i read somewhere that it would only affect approx 2'000 customers. I was surprised that only they only had 2'000 US customers trading FX with IB.

If you trade the majors, you should be fine with futures.

Not sure the same is true if you trade the cross-rates. The last time I checked (has been a while), spot FX had an advantage in the cross-rates.

Trade Station shut down Fx trading as well a few months ago. You can always trade the futures currency contracts if you don't want to open a new Fx account.
