LANSING, Mich. - Michigan's Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says false claims have been made by the Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. Michigan’s elections were conducted fairly, effectively and transparently and are an accurate reflection of the will of Michigan voters. The erroneous reporting of unofficial results from Antrim county was a result of accidental error on the part of the Antrim County Clerk. The equipment and software did not malfunction and all ballots were properly tabulated. However, the clerk accidentally did not update the software used to collect voting machine data and report unofficial results. Like many counties in Michigan, Antrim County uses the Dominion Voting Systems election management system and voting machines (ballot tabulators.) The county receives programming support from Election Source. Tabulators are programmed to scan hand marked, paper ballots. When machines are finished scanning the ballots, the paper ballots are retained and a totals tape showing the number of votes for each candidate in each race is printed from the machine. In order to report unofficial results, county clerks use election management system software to combine the electronic totals from tabulators and submit a report of unofficial results. Because the clerk did not update software, even though the tabulators counted all the ballots correctly, those accurate results were not combined properly when the clerk reported unofficial results. The correct results always were and continue to be reflected on the tabulator totals tape and on the ballots themselves. Even if the error in the reported unofficial results had not been quickly noticed, it would have been identified during the county canvass. Boards of County Canvassers, which are composed of 2 Democrats and 2 Republicans, review the printed totals tape from each tabulator during the canvass to verify the reported vote totals are correct. The software did not cause a misallocation of votes; it was a result of user human error. Even when human error occurs, it is caught during county canvasses. It is also completely false that the county had to or will have to hand count all their ballots. The ballots were properly counted by the tabulators. The county had to review the printed tabulator results from each precinct, not each individual ballot. www.bbc.com/news/live/election-us-2020-54786937 Posts are being widely shared online suggesting a glitch in the vote-counting software used in Michigan led to thousands of ballots cast for Donald Trump being counted for Joe Biden. The claims have made their way on to the president’s Twitter feed, after he retweeted a post from Republican Senator Ted Cruz suggesting there could be a problem with the software used across the state. There was a problem in one county where votes were initially incorrectly reported for Mr Biden, which Michigan’s Secretary of State said “was quickly identified and corrected”. She added the initial mistake was a human error, not a software error. Viral posts currently circulating claim there could be the same issue in 47 other counties in Michigan, where the same software is used. Mrs Benson said: “There is no evidence this user error occurred elsewhere in the state.” Read more on false and misleading voting claims here.
Anyone who has studied programming in university has probably written a voting machine program in first year, they are such a known quantity. In my day we even studied whether the math coprocessor glitch in the Pentium 90 could be made to force an error (assembly code). So it seems the clerk did not update the upload side software as instructed, hence the correctly tabulated votes from the machines were miss allocated, the error being presumably 100 percent made it obvious even before the paper tape was reconciled there was an error. Sorry boys, anyone who has written a line of code knew this did not pass the smell test.
Finally, a God damn answer to observed anomalies and information regarding ensuring the integrity of the vote in Michigan. It is interesting to note how few reads or comments your post received on this critical subject. Appreciate you, even if it ultimately means no more dreams of Trump running through the fields of freedom while brandishing his sword of economic opportunity against those who oppose our system of prosperity!
A clerical error that was fixed is hardly news except when a psychopathic leader wants it to be. Think of how much you've run with this story about "election fraud" suggesting all the "evidence" out there, expecting people to react to your theories and do something about it. Here's my idea of what should have been done since election night. Complete the count ( check ). Recount the states with less then 0.5% difference ( in process in Georgia ). Recount any states less then 1% difference that people legally ask for ( in process in Wisconsin, maybe Arizona ? ). Wait for results. If any integrity issues on the election come up, address them. So far, none found of any consequence other then less then 600 ballots in Penn. Note Trump and your approach. Post tons of claims on social media that there was systematic "election fraud" before the vote is even fully counted. Give credit to random people doing the same posting often nonsensical evidence ( one lawyer said 38 million votes were deleted or changed to Biden from Trump -- I guess if you are going to lie might as well be a whopper ??? ). Escalate your claims to be essentially proven facts because you uttered them or saw some supposed data anomolies during the election night reporting. Criticize anyone who is not on board with your theories stating there is no "election fraud" found at this point. Create all sorts of fanciful conspiracy theories about it all and then propose events coming to rectify such problems. Criticizing others for not taking you up on such dreamed up events. In Trump's case, send an army of lawyers with no real evidence. In your case, go on a long drive to discuss the election results with some Republicans who were only too delighted to play into your concerns. Now which of these two approaches is more rational ? Note that in either case, evidence of systematic "election fraud" would show up in the process. Trump could have been doing more important things like addressing the monster outbreak of Covid in America. Instead, it's President Elect Biden trying to do so.
As I said in my opening post in the other thread, there are possibilities that don’t include fraud. If the issues in the remaining states are satisfactorily explained that does not include election affecting fraud, I will be happy to accept and support Joe Biden as my President.
Seems to be coming out next week. https://report.drudgenow.com/articl...ed-steal-got-caught/&n=0&s=2&c=1&pn=Anonymous
Meanwhile Al Capone said the alcohol found in one of his trucks was only there because of driver error. The driver was meant to pick up fresh fish but erroneously loaded liquor that was packed in a similar style box. Capone says he did a thorough investigation and there's no evidence that any of his other trucks have been delivering alcohol to speakeasy's around the city. I hope that clears up any evidence of wrong doing.
What complete bullshiat... Ghomert is an idiot. False reports claim election servers were seized in Germany https://apnews.com/article/fact-checking-9754011363 CLAIM: The U.S. Army raided the Frankfurt office of the Spanish election software company Scytl to seize servers that had evidence of voting irregularities in the Nov. 3 U.S. election. AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Both the Army and Scytl told The Associated Press the claim is not true. Furthermore, Scytl does not have offices or servers in Frankfurt, Germany. THE FACTS: Social media users Saturday were sharing reports published by conservative websites claiming servers that would reveal wrongdoing in the U.S. election had been confiscated by U.S. military forces in Germany. Most posts said the servers belong to the software company Scytl, which is based in Barcelona, and some suggested the servers housed information from Dominion Voting Systems. The false claims followed a Zoom call this week that featured Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert, of Texas, suggesting that “U.S. Army forces” had seized servers from a Frankfurt office of the software company Scytl. In his remarks, which were widely shared on social media, Gohmert acknowledged that the information about the alleged raid only came from a “German tweet in German,” and had said, “I don’t know the truth.” The Associated Press reached out to Gohmert’s spokesperson but did not hear back. In his recorded remarks, Gohmert said he had heard from “former intel people” that Scytl maintained data that could be “gleaned” to prove Republican votes had been changed to Democrat in the Nov. 3 election. But, according to the company, Scytl does not tally votes. Nor is there credible evidence Republican votes were changed to Democratic votes in the election. George Papadopoulos, a former Trump campaign adviser who pleaded guilty in special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, tweeted on Friday afternoon: “Breaking: Congressman Louie Ghomert has stated that The U.S. Army has seized servers for Dominion in Germany.” When asked by The Associated Press if the Army had engaged in an operation to recover servers in Germany, an Army spokesperson responded Saturday, “Those allegations are false.” Scytl also refuted the claim. As the false conspiracy spread online, the company released a statement Friday titled, “Fact Checking Regarding US Elections: Debunking Fake News.” In the statement Scytl said: “We do not have servers or offices in Frankfurt” and “The US army has not seized anything from Scytl in Barcelona, Frankfurt or anywhere else.” It also says Scytl does not “tabulate, tally or count votes in the US.” Jonathan Brill, the president and general manager for Scytl’s U.S. division told the AP, “Scytl products sold to US customers are fully housed in the US, utilizing Amazon Web Services and have never been housed in Germany.” The company provided four election-related products to city, county and state clients for the Nov. 3 U.S. election, including an interface to train election workers, online tools to educate voters, an online platform for voters to request absentee ballots and an online platform to display real-time election results tabulated by local election officials. Scytl and Dominion do not have ties to one another, according to statements from both companies. “There is no truth whatsoever to the claims,” a Dominion spokesperson wrote in an email when asked if the company stored data on servers in Germany and if it was aware of a U.S. military operation to seize those servers. The claim is the latest in a series of false information that has circulated about Dominion Voting Systems since the election, including the meritless theory that the company’s voting machines deleted or switched Trump votes. There is no evidence of widespread fraud in the 2020 election. In fact, election officials from both political parties have stated publicly that the election went well and international observers confirmed there were no serious irregularities.
