I currently code in both NT/C# and python.

Below is not intended to be an all-inclusive list just some big picture bullet points all IMHO.

    NT
    • For me way easier to learn
    • Much better support
    • Tons of example code
    • Much faster language
    • Better execution
    Python
    • Best language for AI/Machine learning/deep learning, etc.
    • Much faster to code in. What might take a page in c# might take 3 lines of code in python
    • Quantrocket - best pay framework/platform
    • Backtrader - best open source framework

    lol wut

Python might be slow due to a GIL but it is almost certainly faster than a gimped C# running on NinjaTrader.

I stated imho. I dont really care. But, since you stated it in that manner, prove it or do you have diarrhea of the mouth and just make shit up? You said almost certainly which leads me to believe you are pulling your bs opinions out of your ass.

Btw- the vast majority of my coding is done in python now with the most advanced ml libraries available.

Did I somehow offend you? LOL.

Lets break down how and why you are “WeToddDid”:

    1. You compared an execution platform to a language.

    2. You implied a gimped C# (NinjaScript) could be faster than a Cython implementation of literally anything.

    3. You claim to use "the most advanced ML libraries" like some intellectual virtue which just make you look like an idiot. Especially because they are teaching tensorflow/Keras/scikit-learn to 15 year olds.

You are the weakest link. Goodbye.

Okay, so you cannot prove anything and your opinions are apparently pulled out of thin air. Thank you for clarifying that.

The egos on this site are getting really old.

It is not even possible to attempt to make a helpful post without some egomaniac finding it necessary to be a jerk.
