I used it for about 6 months. Great product. Cost effective. No issues. Crashed a few times when i ran a few scripts of my own. overall good experience. Why do you need a lifetime user to comment on the product? Its 950$ for lifetime and 60$ per month.
I too would like some feedback about ninjatrader. I just found that add on the front page and figure that within 3 months the product is paid for in the reduced rate from my current broker OEC/Gain. And then its a 31% savings thereafter in my pocket - not chump change. Is the broker solid? The front end sturdy? Reports clean? The usual stuff. I dont need any hand holding. I think I emailed OEC support twice in a year for minor stuff.
Not to pick on you, but I have never seen Ninja crash on me in over 18 months of 24/7 automated trading ... ... but of course, as soon as someone programs indicators or strategies, there is the risk of introducing software errors in those indicators / strategies which might lead to a complete crash of Ninja - although most often, it is just the indicator / strategy which will terminate in an exception properly handled by Ninja. Great product, the Ninja support team is second to none. One still needs a profitable trading plan / method
I have used NinjaTrader many years ago and today. It has always been one of the most stable platforms out there. It is also fast and one of the few platforms that does not conflict with other software on your computer. It lacks bells and whistles but it makes up for it in speed, reliability, order management and it can automate any strategy you can think of.
