Same place where you find eldritch spell scrolls and dragon caves full of treasure, or other stuff that gives you money for free or lets you predict the future: dreams, fantasies, and delusions. Oh, you meant in real life? It doesn't exist. If it did, guys like me would glom onto the resulting volatility and arb the hell out of it. Free money, yay!... uh, no. That's not the way the world works.
Dow Jones news is on esignal from $155 a month. Reuters EIKON rebadged as www.metastock.com Xenith is from $110 a month.
I notice you have become extremely cynical. I get why, it's aggregating to hear from lazy folk day in day out who can't even perform any basic research. It's frustrating. But do you honestly want to waste your time and energy and above all emotions on lost causes?
Those are the same reuters feeds that are provided free of charge on many websites. Xenith is so crippled in terms of functionality, any comparison with Eikon is outright laughable.
This perception may be a result of you seeing only a small cross-section of what I've written, both here and elsewhere. I don't say that I'm a meadow-skipping Pollyanna in other places - but I usually respond in ways that I find appropriate to a given post (admittedly a multivariate function that is almost certainly opaque to others but makes perfect sense to me.) I will say, though, that there's one thing I am very unlikely to do: simply slam somebody for no reason, or as an ego trip. As you say, I would not waste my time. If I respond with irony, the implication is that the poster is way off in their thinking and needs to make a sharp course correction. If they take it in the right spirit - as I would, when I know that I'm ignorant on a given topic and hunting for basic clues - they'll ask questions... at which point, I'll be happy to follow up with better quality answers. If they decide to bridle, then I'll simply ignore them. In my experience, this makes for a good filter. Better questions get better answers; the best ones stimulate interesting discussion - and hopefully provide a learning opportunity for everyone.
