I recently got a job at a prop trading company, so I spent the last day reading every thread on said company posted within the last year. I'd like to do some extra reading/research because I really want this to work out for me. Can someone point me in the right direction. What are some good books/websites to start reading? Thanks everyone
How we make money is not something you are likely going to learn reading a few books. In fact, reading the mainstream material will likely do more harm than good. Plan to immerse yourself in trading, look for a good mentor to learn from, and put in the time it takes to learn the business. I wish you luck! Mike
There are some books listed on this site http://www.elitetrader.com/bo/ You wouldn't recommend any of them? What about reading some of the topics here? It's still a little early, but I realize I'm going to get out of it what I put in...
i recommend reading trading in the zone trading to win and grab one technical book to see what people see in a technical. there are tons of them out there. lastly for fun reading market wizards series reminescense of stock operator
"the phsychology of trading" by steenbarger, perhaps best to read once you've started trading so you can relate to your trading emotions. I found it very helpful
