I recently got a job at a prop trading company, so I spent the last day reading every thread on said company posted within the last year.

I'd like to do some extra reading/research because I really want this to work out for me.

Can someone point me in the right direction.

What are some good books/websites to start reading?

    Thanks everyone

  2. How we make money is not something you are likely going to learn reading a few books. In fact, reading the mainstream material will likely do more harm than good. Plan to immerse yourself in trading, look for a good mentor to learn from, and put in the time it takes to learn the business.

    I wish you luck!

There are some books listed on this site
    http://www.elitetrader.com/bo/

You wouldn't recommend any of them?

What about reading some of the topics here?

It's still a little early, but I realize I'm going to get out of it what I put in...

  5. "the phsychology of trading" by steenbarger, perhaps best to read once you've started trading so you can relate to your trading emotions. I found it very helpful
