Gee I wonder if crime will skyrocket now... https://www.foxnews.com/politics/cu...-city-move-to-strip-1-billion-in-nypd-funding
I don't even know what the big deal is about this. Heck, it could have been a lot easier if DeBlubbio would have just given his wife the $1billion. Or more! POOF! And it's GONE!!! https://www.redstate.com/slee/2019/...wife-case-missing-850-million-taxpayer-money/
Well the NYPD will need to strategically determine where they need to cut back now that their budget has been reduced by $1 Billion. I would suggest the following steps: Stop providing police protection for any NY DA's office that refused to prosecute the rioters. Stop providing police protection in any neighborhood where a politician lives who supported the budget cut. Focus your resources on the most crime ridden neighborhoods. The wealthy neighborhoods have less crime; if a crime wave develops in wealthy liberal enclaves of the city certainly they will pitch in for increasing the NYPD budget.... otherwise they can hire private security.
