New to CT question

If there is an October futures contract trading currently, why are the September options linked to the December futures? Is this an anomaly in the softs? Any others I should be aware of?

 

The volume on the futures is on the Dec contract.

It's normal.

 

October cotton is the bastard month nobody cares about it, since little cotton is actually delivered against it. If you have any more questions about Cotton futures let me know.

 

What will tomorrow's settlement price be?.....and the next day's....and the next......

 

that's easy in z 65.56, 62.56, 59.56

 

Hmmm....there's a bear in the house. Who else thinks it keeps going lower from here? That was one heck of a bounce off 58 and it was very easy to see it coming on the chart. Was 65 the high for this contract?
