What Option Trading books do you recommend for anyone learning to get more complicated? Thank's for your advice!
Volatility Trading, Euan Sinclair Market Making, Baird is most of what us mortals will ever need. Even more complicated.? Rebonato and Gatheral and whatever Academia publishes. Check the references section of each book. Also, wikipedia Bachelier who used Brownian Motion to price options 70 years before BSM.
Thank's for the ideas, Looking at Amazon.com for your ideas, my books are really old, one speaks about being a "Egg Trader", and Cotton, in Fractions and don't mention our HFTS and other Trading Friends. Most won't mention the HFTS because I don't think they really are screwing with guys like Xandman who are Swing-Traders and seek out good stocks. They are only a type of noise we can deal with. Good Luck and Peace to All!
Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase: "How we trade options" by Pete and Jon Najarian (as advertised on CNBC) Supposedly free....it cost me $40 because I was duped into purchasing a DVD that I thought was included for free. Bottomline: shipping and handling : $20 extra DVD : $20 ------------------------------------ Total Cost $40 Value : ZERO Very little substance in that book....it's very thin as well.
