    Hello

i am looking to swap from IBKR to something else with a better trading platform (which can also be good for daytrading and long run stocks, kinda hate using 2 different brokers)

Only thing is that im located in Europe.

Any recommendations? Right now i can invest 10k

If you want to daytrade with $10K, Schwab isn't an option since they have the PDT rule.

Saxo doesn't since it is an European broker. Degiro is another option however their platform isn't really suited for daytrading.

I don't wanna day trade with 10k...10k is just my total investment. I have a degiro account it's nice for buy and hold....

  5. You didn't mention why move away from IB , and looking for better broker? what is that you don't like about IB.

My brother has saxo bank account, you will pay arm and leg for commissions, and platform is few decades behind IB.

I recommend Trade station securities, i think it is superior to IB in some department, but IB has global trading and so many order types with presets, which i really like and No other brokers match that.

I am also getting interested in Schwab, it seems to be the only broker offering commission free trading to traders based in the EU?

I don't like their software...TWS...it feels really clunky to me, slow, especially the charts

  8. I never used their charts, but i heard it's not good ... But if you mean interface is clunky, that's how i felt when i opened it first time, but i was proved wrong after i got used to it, because it's not typical interface that most brokers platforms designed, it's designed for professional traders and order entry is really fast if you set it up the way you want.

I think schwab only allows German residents but I could be wrong. (as far as EU goes)

  10. Choosing a broker is very difficult task of Forex trading. A new trader must search and read reviews about different brojker to check the broker is reliable, trusted, regulated and broker's reputation should be good.
