Not sure where we are with this thing. Early voting has gone on for so long. I guess it is starting for real about now and will wrap up sometime today/tonight. I don't know. Joe needs to take second to even have anyone continue to look at him. Doubtful. Third or fourth more likely. Either way he will be coming into SC looking vastly weaker than anyone anticipated, unless the magic mushrooms are telling you that he is going to come in first place in Nevada. That would be special. Would also mean we are on another planet. Pokey needs at least third place to have one nostril still above water. If she can make third and survive on the little cash she just got then booty and klobo will be falling out soon and she will make it through SuperTuesday. Third is a good slot for anyone if Joe or Booty are above you because they are not headed anywhere. But you need some cash to carry you another month for it to play out and most of them dont have it. I forget to mention Bloomie for obvious reasons I guess. But ditto, if he is above you, you don't need to worry about it in the long run but you need cash to survive for it to play out. A big if.
The biggest question... who's gonna get the golden desideratum? Money talks. (It can also be used to paint over those past sins I suspect.) _______________________________ Abrams defended Bloomberg's colossal campaign spending, saying, "I think that for once we actually know where the money is coming from." "Every person is allowed to run and should run the race that they think they should run, and Mike Bloomberg has chosen to use his finances. Other people are using their dog, their charisma, their whatever," she added. "I think it's an appropriate question to raise. But I don't think it's disqualifying for anyone to invest in fixing America." It’s a complex topic for Abrams, who has made it known she’s willing to serve as a vice president to whichever Democrat emerges as the nominee. Bloomberg donated $5 million to Abrams’ Fair Fight voting rights group -- the largest single donation received by the organization. Bloomberg was later given a primo speaking slot at a voting summit she held in Atlanta. __________________________ I could certainly see the DNC already planning this as Bernie sends them to a brokered convention.
Who needs Russians for election interference? https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/20...ed-its-republican-caucuses-primaries-n1140481 Nevada canceled its Republican caucus to help Trump re-election bid Republican parties in Nevada, and at least three other states, canceled their nominating contests as part an effort to make the path smoother for Trump. LAS VEGAS — While Democratic voters here will flock to caucus sites to express their preference in their party’s nominating contest, Republican voters will go about their day as normal. That’s because the Republican Party voted last year to cancel its caucus. The decision was made to help clear the path to re-election for President Donald Trump. By canceling its caucus, the party ensures that voters don’t have the opportunity to formally put their support behind a different Republican candidate for president.
A John goes back to a hooker he had a date with five nights before. He says, “You gave me crabs!” She replies, “What’d you expect, lobster?”
In contrast, the DNC is actively trying to kill the primary process right in the middle of the primary as soon as they can figure out how to stop Bernie. When they do, expect to see "some rules changes needed to improve the process."
Early returns in Nevada show the Bolsheviks in the lead. The Red Army has definitely established a forward position in the trenches outside Milwaukee. I thought second place, was too high for Joe but it is- so far- one of the ugliest second places imaginable - Bernie having have twice the number of votes as Joe rather than the 5% spreads between them that we saw for a long time. Everything and everyone below Joe looks like just chickenfeed so far.
Not looking good in Nevada. And even if Joe did drop out after SC or something, then what? Who would he be making room for? "So far this is not lookin' good." James Carville.
