Paid Amibroker users, how is the customer service helpfulness and responsiveness in resolving issues regarding software usage, bugs and syntax errors? As a trial user , the response with problems I am getting isn't forthcoming and usually vague. I am wondering whether Tomasz and his support staff treat paid customers differently. Need to know before paying for a software that I have issues and not getting the proper customer support.
In general, I avoid contacting the help desk. I let other people do the contacting. Then their lives will be shortened. I only contact the help desk when it is a life-and-death situation.
Their software support is not designed to train you on the software (i.e. usage, syntax errors). Best to sign up for a course if you are serious about using the product or hire a consultant.
I don't think there is any customer support, it's just that guy who is also programmer and author. His support is usually "read the manual!".
"Read the manual" is not just the answer of support, but the condition under which the product is sold! Amibroker is not an expensive SaaA, but a very, very low cost masterpiece without usage limitations. Bought my copy almost twenty years ago, best $250 I ever spent, how many minutes of support do you expect at this price? There were many products promising best support, selling at 2k, stopped working, and no one answering the phone or email any more.
