    Hello,

    Need some advices.

I have traded markets from home with my own capital for 10 years. Results are Ok, personal situation is Ok and still love my job. But I am just fed up to work alone.

The best would be to join a HF Funds or similar to increase the volume traded, share ideas with others traders and discover other markets - my strats can be used with large volume.

Do you think it could be possible to find a company interested by this?

I live in Europe but can move easily.

    Thanks for your help

    F.

  2. Why not send a letter explaining your situation, followed by a phone call to the various funds out there. :)

Trying to find a prop firm in NY or Chicago. It's easy to meet like-minded people there.

  6. There are benefits in working alone as well as with other traders. However, most of the times, from what I have experienced via chat rooms, is that other traders may slow you down. To be successful, you need to be trading under optimal conditions.

The search of finding a complimenting trader that produces a synergistic result is hard to find. If you do find one, then consider yourself lucky.

I trade solo, but hoping that one day I can have a tight team of 4-6 traders to work with.

  7. You're in a strong position. It sounds like you have a winning methodology that is scaleable. That has value. You may have to move -- unless you're already in London -- but you seem willing to do that. Pick a place or two that you are willing to live and then start some conversations.

I'm not suggesting arrogance but don't be timed about what you bring to the table.

Just search on deskspace in the area you want to be in. You just need to get out of the houe not necessarily a trading enviroment. Then tell other traders what deskspace company you are at.

What not hire some people to trade for you, pay them a base each week and percentage. Teach them a couple methods and have them trade other hours you are trading. That's what I have done and enjoy the coverage. Plus it frees you up to do some coding for automation.
