Need a prop firm for US stock options

Discussion in 'Prop Firms' started by TradeBlazer, Sep 15, 2023.

  1. I don't trade stocks, futures, or forex. I am looking for US stock options for simple calls and puts.

Tradefundrr recently rolled out their new program today. Looks like the major change was the one step challenge rather than the two step they used to have.

I do not like their Payout schedule and the path required to get to unlimited payout (no more tiered payouts). I also do not see a scaling plan so if you start at 25k you are stuck with it, at least that's how it looks.

Trader2b is developing a program for stock options but I don't know when/if it will be completed. That's all I know at this time.

What other prop firms are there for stock options? Since options are becoming more popular I am surprised there aren't more available.

What value do you find in a prop firm for simple option trading? Trading costs are generally higher and option do not require a lot of cash for directional trading.

You can't tell your vetted customers that they are trading real when they are not. With option it's kind of easier to tell between demo and real.
Then the risk of having to pay the customer on a single lottery ticket with a long 0dte options using only the debit as collateral it's a bit much in potential leverage I guess.
The deception is way easier with spot.

Exactly, none of them are going to allow you to trade singles as it's too easy to spot on T&S, or lack thereof.

  6. Maverick Trading has been around since the 90's and they offer full option trading. T3 trading also offers some option trading but it is scaled down on what you can do and hold overnight. Both are US based

Fun question. are regulated brokers ( Stock and Futures) thinking of jumping on the band wagon of this so called "Prop Firm " ? After all you guys have the technology and are already have some reputation for being regulated! :sneaky: and have a client base!
