exceeded the 20,000 point threshold already This is likely a rudimentary question , but I am wondering why the Nikkei 225 has exceeded the 20,000 mark , while we're just now at that 20,000 point mark Is it because other countries ( Japan's ) Currency isn't exactly equal to one US Dollar ? So that if we did the math and made it apples to apples , that we would see that the Nikkei 225 has only reached say 12,000 Points, as the equivalence to " Our " Dow Jones ? Just a question that struck me today Thank you for the help
Well, that would naturally figure. The only country's currency that could exactly equal 1USD would be the USA. So what is the Yen to USD? Among many other variables? What is the Nikkei index company valuation, blah blah etc etc.
