NBC Poll: Majority Of Voters Support Trump On Immigration, More Than Before LA Riots

Fifty-one percent of Americans approve of Trump’s immigration and border security policies, according to an NBC poll. This number is up 2 percent from a similar poll taken in April before the LA riots began.

As always, NBC chose to focus on the negative with the headline “Americans disapprove of Trump’s performance,” although his current 45 percent overall approval rating is higher than Biden’s 42 percent and Trump’s 41 percent in his first term. In lockstep with one another, left-wing outlets continue trying to turn the American people against many of the policies they voted for, including DOGE cuts, important provisions in the “big, beautiful bill,” and an America-first economy.

  2. Overall Trump is double digit negative in that poll and negative on every other issue

  6. Biden's disapproval rating wasn't 55% though as the writer of that article conveniently left out.

Biden sucked but he didn't hit negative approval in aggregate polling until September of his first year,Trump turned negative in March.

Disapproval rating is more important than approval rating as those who disapprove are more likely to come out and vote against you and your party in elections.Thats why no party has ever won a House or White House race when thier incumbent President had a higher disapproval than approval on Gallup since Gallup started nearly 100 years ago.

  8. When has a Party won a House or White House race when thier incumbent President had a higher disapproval than approval rating in Gallup polling?

Trump supporters believed the polling when Biden had negative approval ratings and Democrats lost.
