May 27, 2018 The real story, without hyperbolic spin, as released by South Korean President Moon. http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/news/2018/05/27/0200000000AEN20180527001453315.html "While explaining the outcome of my summit with U.S. President Trump held last week, I relayed the message that President Trump is firmly willing to end his country's hostile relationship with North Korea and enhance economic cooperation should Chairman Kim make a decision on complete denuclearization and implements it," Moon said. The South Korean president visited Washington on Monday-Wednesday. He said his surprise meeting with Kim came at a suggestion from the North Korean leader, who on Friday expressed hope to meet for candid dialogue. "Also, as both Chairman Kim and President Trump sincerely wish for the success of the North-U.S. summit, I stressed the need for the two sides to remove any misunderstanding through direct communication and to hold enough dialogue on agenda issues that need to be addressed at their summit," President Moon said, adding, "Chairman Kim also agreed." Moon insisted the U.S. must have independently confirmed the North's willingness to denuclearize, saying that otherwise the U.S. president would not have agreed to a summit with Kim.
The real story without hyperbolic spin. Putin plays a chess move by giving NK some 60s era rocket engines & technical support from a Soviet boneyard. NK makes a surprise leap forward in rocket tech, in reality they only have a few engines. Knowing Trump has had a boner for N-K since the 90s it was very predictable he would get stuck in there given a prod. Putin's hand for sure. At the same time they bump up their H-Bomb testing, make a mistake and severely damaged their underground test area Punggye-ri. This starts to leak radiation (has been for some time/years by defector reports) and worries China obviously enough. Regime survival is Kim & others desire. Pence's Qaddafi comments while probably accurate were just a weird thing to say. Tactic or just the US being the US, openly and casually talking about who to bomb next and freaking out when someone else says anything implying force to them. Whatever is going on Trump is using his old real estate tricks dealing with angry condo owners. One would imagine this won't work at dictator level but who knows. We have similar in Ireland and UK, called Gypsey's, Tinkers, Pavees, Pikeys or when being polite, Travelers. They survive in an antisocial boom and bust manner very much like Trump. As a kid I was always amazed to see sights like a Rolls Royce pulling a caravan to their winter settled brick homes. This gross excess in ways while having nothing in others was strange to me. Trump would be king of the Scottish travelers perhaps.
From the South Korean News Agency U.S. officials cross into N. Korea for summit preparations: report SEOUL, May 27 (Yonhap) -- A group of U.S. officials crossed the inter-Korean border to North Korea on Sunday for talks to prepare for a summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and the North's leader Kim Jong-un, a report said. Sung Kim, a former U.S. ambassador to South Korea and ex-nuclear negotiator, led the U.S. team for working-level talks with North Korea, The Washington Post reported. The former ambassador crossed the border to meet with Choe Son-hui, North Korea's vice foreign minister, who prompted Trump on Thursday to announce the cancellation of a summit with Kim scheduled for June 12 in Singapore, the report said. The U.S. team also included Allison Hooker, director for Korea on the White House National Security Council, and Randall Schriver, the assistant secretary of defense for East Asia. The move came one day after South Korean President Moon Jae-in and the North's leader held a surprise second summit on the northern side of Panmunjom, the second meeting in a month. At the summit, Kim reaffirmed his willingness to denuclearize and hold a summit with Trump, Moon said Sunday. Trump said Saturday that he is still considering meeting with Kim on June 12 as originally planned.
Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said North Korea leader Kim Jong Un “may have met his match,” with President Donald Trump. Clapper said, “I support the letter that President Trump sent to Kim Jong Un. I think it was a good thing to do.” He continued, “This is typical North Korean, two steps forward, one step back. That’s what they always do. And in some ways, Kim Jong Un may have met his match here with our very unconventional president.” He added, “There’s value having gone this far. There’s value in meeting and greeting, gripping and grinning and just establishing rapport. Yes, I think it would be important to have this summit.”
Trump as a Traveler? I never thought of it till you said it. He has the same attitude alright. Wonder would he clean my gutters?
He is even only partially literate after being brought up rich. Mueller should hire the McCarthy-Dundon's as advisers. Somehow they would rob the FBI lads of course.
And, he does seem to allegedly want sex with his own daughter. There'll be a halting site on the White House lawn this summer
Ahhh, no, Mr. Crapper. Not sure what planet you have been on. "Typical North Korean" has actually been one step forward and two steps back. One step forward to get the free stuff, and then two steps back and then we/our allies are worse off within a few months.
And yet his way more rich...far more powerful...has a wonderful family. Doubt you could qualify in the same league as POTUS in any of these arenas. Maybe banging LATAM whores is your peak.
