Om DB Namah (I bow down to my guru DB) Hi, First of all I would like to thank my Guru DB for everything...... I have been following him for the last 4 years or so and have gone through all his SLA threads here on ET and at TL. I have gone through almost all methods, indicators etc. and have time and again found that nothing is better than pure price study. To be honest I just started on my journey and luckily within a few months I found DB and today when I read about various indicators etc. my mind just goes back to price action and I find no attraction in anything else... Once again thanks DB, I am no one to comment anything about you as I am just a student and a student does not have any right to comment on the way of the guru..... Regards, K
I would like to pay my gratitude to .... The GREAT Jesse Livermore and one and only....... my GURU DB (namo Gurudev)...... Thanks to the both of you...... Regards, K
Praise is all wonderful and deserved but what have you been doing? Any charts or something would help. Are you profitably trading now or are you still training or figuring out a plan? Gringo
Namo Gurudev... Hi Gringo.... Thanks for your post... what a pleasure and honour to have you as the first person to comment here.... Yes I have been trading for the last 3 years more or less.... and over the years my account has become light red and this year so far has been almost breakeven. ...thanks to you guys... Regards, K
Namo Gurudev... Reading something and experiencing it .... are two worlds apart... What I read - "The distinction between trending and ranging requires the trader to make important decisions regarding what he wants and how he plans to go about getting it. This is made even more difficult by the fact that most traders don't even know that there is a distinction between trending and ranging and that a decision must be made." What I experienced - Today I was literally slaughtered by the range bound market.... the more I traded the more I lost..... What I learnt - "But, at the end of the session, it is rare to find that all these in-and-outs amount to more than what one would have gained by doing nothing more than entering at one end and exiting at the other, if one has any gains at all." and "most profitable means of trading a range is to just leave it alone and let it do what it does" Thanks G - "In trading as in life, the test comes before the lesson if one isn't consciously taking the steps - Gringo" Regards, K
Namo Gurudev. .. Every day you learn something. ... Reading it and experiencing it are two worlds apart.... Today I made a profitable trade with hours of focus and was satisfied with the results(though I made assumptions... not good for trading ..) however in the enthusiasm of it I called reversal too soon and gave it all away within 25 minutes. ... Regards, K
Namo Gurudev..... Please can someone throw some light on Taylor (TTT) method - if it is of any help with SLA or AMT .... Regards, K
Namo Gurudev..... I can not believe that it is you who have responded (I so wished it be you) ... What a pleasure... I know I have become the pupil you are not even aware of however it would be a great honour to be guided and mentored by you (that is if you accept me as your student)... Regards, K
