MyPillow CEO and ardent Trump supporter Mike Lindell says his products have been dropped by major retailers like Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl's after his repeated false claims of voter fraud in the presidential election.

Lindell told NBC Minnesota affiliate KARE on Monday that HEB Stores, Wayfair and Canada's Today's Shopping Choice channel had also stopped selling his products. MyPillow, the bedding company with commercials starring Lindell, is based in Chaska, Minnesota.

In an email to NBC News Tuesday morning, Lindell said that "a group has attacked my vendors" and that the retailers called him saying they had been threatened with "a boycott if they don’t comply" and drop his products.

A representative for Today's Shopping Choice confirmed that MyPillow products would no longer be sold on the channel.

A Bed Bath & Beyond spokesperson said the decision to stop selling MyPillow was in the company's economic interest.

“We are continually improving our product assortment," the retailer said. "As previously announced, we have been rationalizing our assortment to discontinue a number of underperforming items and brands. This includes the MyPillow product line."

Spokespeople for the other three vendors did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Twitter permanently suspends My Pillow CEO for election misinformation
    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-mypillow-twitter-idUSKBN29V0P1

Twitter Inc has permanently suspended the account of My Pillow chief Mike Lindell for repeated violations of the company’s policy on election misinformation, the social media firm said late on Monday.

Lindell, a devout supporter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, financed post-election protest movements in a bid to overturn the election win of President Joe Biden.

Lindell used his personal Twitter account, which had nearly half a million followers before being suspended, and the company’s account to spread unsubstantiated claims of widespread voter fraud in the presidential election.

Courts have rejected such baseless claims, even as Trump and his supporters continued to falsely allege there being voter fraud.

Lindell repeatedly violated the company’s civic integrity policy, due to which he was suspended, a Twitter spokesperson said in an emailed statement. Twitter had permanently suspended Trump from its platform earlier this month.

The founder and Chief Executive Officer of the My Pillow company, Lindell’s political commentary and advertisements are a regular fixture on conservative media.

A self-described former cocaine addict and alcoholic who says he found sobriety through Christianity, Lindell helped sponsor a two-week March for Trump bus tour that ended in Washington on Dec. 14 and spoke at five stops.

  5. I have said it before and will say it again...

CEOs have a responsibility to their company/shareholders and it NEVER ends well when they feel they can go out and open their mouths about issues in the public all over social media. This lesson has been taught time and time again but there are always idiots who fail to take advice from PR personnel and the rich guy gets away with money while the company and its employees suffer.

BoD should start putting social media clauses in contracts, which would be hard when the CEO is also 100% owner...

    Like I said before,

Twitter is a glorified yahoo message board.

The company is not important in any way and adds little to no value to society.

    Who cares.

Well conservatives are complaining about it 24/7 on Fox News and other conservative media so I would say millions of conservatives care.Lindell wants to run for MN Governor and Twitter is probably the # 1 tool for politicians to get their message out and speak to supporters.

Getting banned from Twitter and Facebook is the new “badge of honor” among conservatives. This will end up like the Goya boycott in which My Pillow will see increased sales.

They wouldn't complain if big tech didn't conspire to eliminate the competition.

Anti trust laws exist for a reason.

  10. It is a fucking pillow.....you can buy them anywhere... My Pillow is just another company trying to convince the sheeple that it has built a better mousetrap when it is just a fucking pillow sold by numerous competitors...

Lindell shot himself in the foot in his failure to separate his personal beliefs from his company. CEOs do not have absolute rights of free speech when it puts their business at risk and all those employees.

    Ask Papa Johns, Crossfit, etc..
