You know how "Cops" and "Live PD" have been cancelled?

Because of the hubbub and sensitivity now arising in the world, there are some movies that will simply be deleted, as if never having existed.

    Mark it, dude.

    A. 48 Hours...

Add others here that you can think of.

  2. Police Academy 3 through 5...1 was the classic and 2 pretty good, the rest were shit.

  4. If given half a chance blacks would erase all white people in the USA. They are racist and full of shit/hate towards white people as they are all raised this way. This is what BLM is all about. HATRED towards white people. They should be called the Black Panthers!

I guess "All in the Family" will be deleted from history soon, too, although that was not a movie, but a TV show.

Could you imagine if they just started running those reruns on Prime time on like NBC or CBS right now? The riots would be off the charts.

  7. I think you missed the heart of the show because it was not an offensive show really. It addressed these issues from real perspectives and did not try and lecture you . The flaming liberal and ignorant conservative were caricaturized and looked foolish and Edith become the hidden voice of reason in the extreme views. It was very well written and does not get the credit it deserves sometimes.

It did not attempt to preach but simply show average family issues wrapped in civil and political covers.

If Gone with the Wind had to go, obviously 12 years a slave absolutely has to go.

Oh no, I got the heart of that show, and others like The Jeffersons and Good Times.

The thing about those shows, which is lost on today's public, is the context in which those shows were written. Shows like that is how we had our conversations about race and segregation and downright ignorance. The 1970s were truly a time of expanding the discussions through media. The reason there is so much laughter at the awfully-racist content then is the same reason we have laughter at the racist comedy now. (or at least, very recently). It is how we as a people dealt with it. We laughed at the absurdity of it all.

It is how we as a people dealt with it in our own way. Especially All in the Family. That show had to be the king of tackling all issues foreign and domestic. The black thing, the jew thing, the polak thing. I got it, man, and I still get it.

My point is...If those shows were to start running now on prime-time TV like they used to? The country would vomitosa and be set on fire. Because they just do not understand context. The basic viewing audience is now too young to understand it.

They are too young to understand why Shatner and Nichols's kiss on the set of Star Trek was so important. Too much hatred. Too much blindness. Mreh, I'm now ranting. Sorry.

  10. Well we have noticed the pussification of sitcoms lately. The Conners have taken on issues in an All in the Family way but not the same.
