More insight into when you might see a stock split...TDY

So earnings came is very good. Over a billion of stock buy back.

The last stock split was 1969!! The price is about $512. as I write.

Yeah, I have looked on the net about to whom and when it happens...

Any insight if this is a candidate for a split or not??

I saw if there is very little history of splits, it is much less likely to happen...

 

Is it typical for a company to buy back their stocks when the stock is doing well?

 

Yes...Flush with cash. They look around and see nothing that looks good to buy. Nothing that can provide synergy to the two companies...They buy back.
