Cohen cheated for decades to amass his fortune of 9 billion. Now the SEC goes after him and he will pay a tiny percentage of his net worth in fines and the case will be closed.

Just more proof that if you cheat, GO BIG. The little guys go to jail, the whales pay a fine and its back to business as usual.

This country is corrupt and rotten to the core.

Cohen should make a citizen's arrest of those SEC employees who have also been insider trading.

  3. If Steve Cohen was sent to jail, like here billionnaires are, this would send a shockwave to anybody tempted into insider trading and other type of unsavory corrupt practices.
Also, once corruption spreads, criminality takes hold and get installed, wealth creators flee or do not bother, and poverty spreads like an epidemic.
If Steve Cohen is indeed involved into corruption, but getting lightly of it, then you are welcoming more corruption, more crime and poverty down the line.

That's the system now, everyone on Wall Street knows this well. Go big and earn, if it explodes in your face, at worst you'll give back 30% of the profits as penalty. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

  8. My boyfriend traded at SAC for a few years.

He managed to cash out for a few million and never engaged in insider trading.

Stevie, who I have met, has a heart of gold and is being persecuted by Preet Bharara. Preet Bharara is an immigrant with alleged links to terrorism, which can be 'googled'.

Stevie should never have been prosecuted, let alone by an alleged financier of international terrorism.

  9. "Alleged links to terrorism", nice try, but with that name we know he isn't muslim, if that was the angle you were going for. Cohen is a jewish name, and some would allege the Israeli Mossad to have engaged in terrorist activity itself, but that's neither here nor there.

As for SAC Capital, how long have you worked their on the inside of the racket (considering you are an obvious shill)?

Actually, thinking about the idiocy (and/or naivete) of your post, you probably never did work there, and are some dumb trophy wife who can't comprehend her husband's situation. Perhaps he gave you a lame excuse for why he couldn't receive his bonus this year. So, no new Range Rover for you this time, honey.

  10. Your boyfriend was probably turning tricks in the mens room.
