“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation Monday that prohibits people under 14 years old from having social-media accounts, regardless of parental consent, one of the most restrictive laws aimed at curbing social-media access for minors,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“Under the new law, social-media companies are required to close accounts believed to be used by minors under 14. The platforms must also cancel accounts at the request of parents or minors, and all information from the accounts must be deleted.”

No social media but by all means carry a pregnancy to term.

DeSantis has been a good governor here in FL but I disagree with this law.
Leave it up to the parents.

  7. It's good that the Republicans are trying to protect little girls from online pedophile predators.

I guess that is why they are doing this?

I only see a dead link given above.

Leaving things like this to parents can be a mistake since lot of them like to sell their kids to predators for money and drugs.

Maybe they should up the age to 16.
