    Hello I am new here.
I have been practicing trading stocks on Ameritrade.
For those who trade regularly, how much do you usually make per month?
Do you cover your expenses? or better stilll, make a profit?

  2. Wrong questions. What you want to ask is "How long did it take you to become a profitable trader"? The answer would be, on average, "10 thousand hours of painstaking research and development, which included devastating account losses". Incidentally, the answer would be the same if the question was about any other business.

  3. For sure. :( :( :(

  4. This question has such variable answers. I think the answers range from losing everything you have and going into massive debt to making millions.

I think it is sort of similar to asking: How much money can you make being an actor?

  5. That's as good of an answer as I have ever seen....ditto to it.

No one here worked 10 hours a day for 4+ years before they become consistently profitable, get off it...

  9. This is true, some of the devastating account losses come fast and furious and u got to painstakingly grow your account again, this trade needs lots of patience and hard work, no short cut and even then , no guarantee of success
