I would like to request mod-like privilege over not just our own trading journals but any threads that we start and even our own posts please. Any time when I see replies to my threads or even my posts that I don't like, I do not want just able to ignore and block the poster but I would like the mod-like privilege of deleting that poster's replies and even banning him/her from ever replying to me or even banning him/her from ET (Wouldn't that be nice when I and many others were/are getting stalked and attacked across unrelated threads when we have blocked the stalker from even seeing our posts). Why confine this mod-like privilege over trading journals? Why not grant this privilege to any thread starters or posters? I have said this many many times before and I will say it again. I am sure the sponsors of ET would love this mod-like privilege also for them to promote their products/services more effectively. After all they are the ones who are paying the bills to allow us to be here and they are not even given mod-like privileges because why? Because like I said many many times before and I will say it again. Everyone here on ET is equal; no one's opinion or posts or threads or journals is more valuable or precious than others that somehow need to be "protected" not even the sponsors'.

And besides if one feels one really wants to control the audience of his/her own threads, there is always the facility of private threads where one gets total control over who to invite and who not to invite. Why so much insistence on doing public threads? And if you are doing public threads, then like @Overnight has said many times, one needs to man up and have the balls to deal with adversity and one is not even supposed to hide behind ignore and block https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/a-missive-to-people-who-hide-behind-ignore-block.371577/ and now one wants mod-like privilege? LOL If one is going to be given mod-like privilege, then everyone should have mod-like privilege just like everyone has the ignore and block function.
