When I finished watching the above video, I was prompted to see this one, which provides a chronology of some of his "black edge" trades, along with some campy video: The book was better.
That’s not a documentary. Just a quick mishmash of clips from other documentaries and info from Wikipedia and Google. That YouTube channel doesn’t produce any documentaries, only mass assembles clips and stock footage.
There were scenes with “Raymond Reddington” from The Blacklist, with Cohen’s face transposed on him (the guy in the hat). Also a scene from Billions.
Read that book. I went to college with "Mathew Martoma". He was a senior, and I was a freshman. I know the professor mentioned in the book (Bruce), since 1996, the one that wrote all his recommendations. After ALL the lies, Martoma was so shameless to ask Bruce for a letter for his sentencing!!! Bruce refused. Martoma is a sociopathic liar, and an expert manipulator. Unfortunately for him, he was outsmarted by Cohen (think about that), and he certainly did not have the $1.6 Billion for a "get out of jail" card. He really deserved jail, and it puts a smile on my face to think of his shitty aluminum toilet
Isn't there already a TV series about Steven Cohen called "Billions"? And they think there needs to be another mini-documentary about him? LOL
Just saw OP's video. FINAiUS YouTube channel is ok. I liked the Renaissance Tech videos. His videos are entertaining and summarizes things well. But saying the WSB was a disaster for Cohen might be stretching it. Melvin Capital took the brunt of it. Cohen helped with some bailout money in the end. Also lol, at Galleon Group, being a small fish.
