Nah, I spotted someone say it on a group, as usual the only ones who are worried about it are the usual gang of old trumper fart retirees taking their nonsense.

I'll ask a local what's going on, its a bit strange as the same type of group leaders were being killed in their homes by the government's paramilitaries during the initial lockdown.

There was enforcement in Brazil's favelas by gang groups. When the government is deficient in countering a threat, people won't give a fuck about your "freedoms" when walking around irresponsibly spreading a virus. That irresponsible stroll may not be bioterrorism by the law in the books, but the streets will have a different take.

Looking at a map of where the little town this is centered around it on a major route to the northern port cities. It may be the locals through their paramilitary councils putting their foot down due to people transiting not giving a shit.

Rural Colombia is like the US ruled by powerful families known here as the "eternals" who keep a thumb on the scales irregardless of left, right, up or down in power. They just manage whatever militant group or government officials / police as suits them.

Unsure, I'll ask a few people later.
