I understand the need for social distancing. This makes no sense, it’s ok to travel to a state park but not travel to a vacation home? https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mi...ans-visits-to-friends-relatives-governor-says Traveling to another home within Michigan, even to visit friends or relatives, or to go to a vacation home, is now banned under Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s coronavirus stay-at-home order, which has been extended until May 1.
If you are going from your house to your car to another home I dont see the problem. I can see saying dont go visit family because you are then mixing people and dont know who has it and could start spreading it house to house but here people are visiting family by staying outside or dropping items off at the door.
HOWEVER! "...Residents may visit a home outside of the state or return to Michigan from another state or drive to a Michigan state park, the Free Press reported..." So you can visit relatives in their home in another state, but cannot visit relatives in their home in Michigan, if you live in Michigan. Sounds like that twisted fireworks law in PA where you can buy them in PA if you are an out-of-state resident, but not if you are a PA resident unless you have a PA permit.
