  1. Michelle Obama to Latinos: ‘We cannot afford to wait on Congress’ for immigration

First lady Michelle Obama grabbed the political reins during a speech to the League of United Latin American Citizens in New York City, telling the crowd of admirers not to worry — that her husband wouldn’t wait on Congress to take action on immigration reform.

“So make no mistake about it — we have to keep on fighting as hard as we can on immigration,” Mrs. Obama said, to a cheering crowd, Breitbart reported. “And as my husband has said, he’s going to do whatever administrative action it takes to fix this broken system.”

Mrs. Obama then vowed that Congress wouldn’t get in the way of her presidential husband’s hopes for immigration change.

“We cannot afford to wait on Congress to lift up our next generation,” she said, Breitbart reported. “We can’t afford to wait on anybody when it comes to our kids’ future. Your grandparents and parents didn’t wait for opportunities to come to them. No, they packed up their families and moved to this country for a better life.”

Shortly after, Mrs. Obama began to list the civil rights offenses that plagued the Hispanic community at America’s hands in recent decades.

“Back then,” she said, referring to 1929 and the start of the LULAC, “Latinos were being brutalized and killed by police and lynched by the KKK. ‘No Mexicans Allowed’ signs hung outside of restaurants and storefronts. Latinos often couldn’t own property, or serve on a jury. And if you walked into a public building, you’d often see not two water fountains, but three — one white, one black and one brown.”

  2. Adult Illegals Registering as Minors to Attend High School in Mass.

Adult illegal immigrants are posing as unaccompanied minors to enroll in public high schools in Massachusetts, officials said Friday.

"Some of them have had gray hair, and they’re telling you that they’re 17 years old and they have no documentation," Jamie Cerulli, the chief of staff for Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy of Lynn, Massachusetts, told The National Review. "If my children went to the public schools, I’d be very uncomfortable with all of these unaccompanied minors [that] are placed in the ninth grade."

Catherine Latham, the school superintendent, said that foreign-student admissions have increased in the district by 500 since the 2010-11 school year. That includes illegal immigrants, refugees, and foreign nationals, the National Review reports.

Nearly 250 students came from Guatemala last school year — and 126 of them enrolled in the ninth grade, Latham said.

Located about 10 miles north of Boston, Lynn has a large Guatemalan population, she told the National Review. Many of the illegal immigrants who arrive there from the Central American country come from the city of San Marcos.

The National Review obtained information and images from the Department of Homeland Security on two illegal immigrants in Lynn who have registered for high school using questionable data.

Isai and Candelaria — whose full names were withheld — are enrolled in the ninth grade and are expected to attend classes this fall, Latham told the National Review.

Latham said that when possible age discrepancies arise, city officials visit the homes of those in question and try to verify age and other information.

She told the National Review of a case in which a relative of an illegal immigrant who registered for school as a "child" was identified by a relative as being 30 to 35 years old.

  3. Mexico, Guatemala fast-track delivery of illegals to U.S.
New 'Regional Visitor Card' grants permission to travel to Rio Grande

NEW YORK – Mexico and Guatemala have reached an agreement that is intended to make it easier and safer for Central Americans, including unaccompanied minors, to enter the United States illegally.

Though largely unreported in the U.S. mainstream media, the two nations agreed on July 7, in a presidential-level meeting in Mexico, to make it legal and safe for Central American immigrants, including unaccompanied minors, to cross Mexico’s border with Guatemala and transit Mexico en route to the U.S. border at the Rio Grande.

The agreement apparently does not recognize that the result of such trips – entry into the United States – remains illegal.

But to facilitate the program, the Mexican government announced plans to issue a new “Regional Visitor Card” that will provide documentation for the Central Americans to remain in Mexico as long as it takes to get to the United States.

  4. My response to the first Lady.

  5. And one more thing for all you illegals out there. Learn the language. However, spelling is optional.

She strikes me as quite empty headed and hedonistic.

I'm still laughing at the peer review of her dissertation that said it was "not written in any known language".

Every single job she held since law school was a patronage job in chicago given to her by the machine and she was not expected to actually work or even show up.

If fucking the president makes someone qualified to lead then I'm voting for Monica Lewinsky.

She and her husband are most likely affirmative action babies, having been accepted into Harvard through racial preference.
If not for affirmative action, husband and wife would have probably received their associate degrees at their local community college.

  9. All this talk from the regime about not waiting for congress, etc is scary. It's not like waiting for congress is optional. It's required by the Constitution.

If they are prepared to ignore that part of the Constitution, what other parts do they regard as optional? He's already shown he doesn't view laws as binding on him.

Obama is a typical third world demagogue, and his wife is only too happy to play the role.

  10. That would have been the best outcome. Most likely he would have been shot in the street, or doing life in prison. She would have spit out half a dozen kids, and collected the checks for doing do. I happy affirmative action kept them from such a life, I really am. However, we'd all be better off if he was just some no name school teacher and she was some hack public defender.
