  3. I thought we were Trayvon Martin. Now I'm so confused. We are all Republicans?

  4. Q The trouble with verifying Clinton’s claim on Trump as ISIS propaganda

Asked to provide evidence of her claim, Clinton’s campaign pointed to social media experts who have said ISIS supporters are frequently using Trump’s remarks to argue Americans hate Muslims. They also pointed to social media posts by ISIS supporters.

But so far, according to a social media expert I spoke to, no one has been able to point to use of Trump videos on official ISIS accounts.

“We’ve seen a number of ISIS sympathizers online cite Mr. Trump’s recent comments but to my knowledge, we haven’t seen it in the official ISIS propaganda channels,” said Seamus Hughes, deputy director of the Program on Extremism at George Washington University’s Center for Cyber & Homeland Security.

  5. ISIS loves Trump because he doesn't believe in drinking or fornication and he destroys anyone who opposes him. They are not recruiting videos, they are training videos.

Donald Trump 2016 Presidential Campaign: Why is Donald Trump running for president? Is he trolling us or is it just a publicity stunt? Is he a serious candidate?

"Jonathan Netherton, political anthropologist and reader of way too many fascist regime bank reports:

    Leverage.

I once worked with a lady who was a money partner in building a resort on some small island in the Philippines. One day, she got a call from no less than Donald Trump himself - Trump gave her a deal: they could use his name on the resort in order to attract customers with a name brand, and in return they pay him $20 million. She refused.

Now, it may seem strange and nonsensical, but what does he have to lose? Worst case scenario, 999 times out of a thousand someone says no, and best case scenario, that thousandth person says yes and he's up $20m. That's him leveraging his name.

What he's leveraging now is the publicity that comes from a presidential run. Worst case scenario, his publicity gets him speaking gigs with white supremacist groups and corporate leaders for decades to come, book deals, everything that we see other politicians banking on; best case scenario, he becomes the executive manager of the most valuable real estate on Earth.

Trump is so well insulated from failure that he's forgotten what it's like to be worried about failing. And though many people have pointed out that simple investments that track the S&P500 would have netted him more money than he has, his instinct is to close lucrative deals. He is an archduke of the Church of Mammon to his core, and even if it doesn't net him as much money as some cool, calculated deal, everything he does is deliberately calculated for his own gain and done so that the worst case scenario is still closing on a good deal. "
